Registration is now
under way for the two skills-oriented programs Sudbury Soccer is offering
players this off-season: a Winter Skills Academy and a Futsal league.

Each program operates
in three sessions. Players can sign up
for one or all of the sessions. Here are the program dates, and registration
deadlines:

* The opening of
registration has been delayed a day from the original date because of the
Martin Luther King Day holiday.
Skills Academy
The second session runs from January 4th to February 12th; the third session from February 23rd
to April 2nd. The Academy can accommodate 16 players per time slot. Here is
the schedule:
U8: Thursdays,
5-6 p.m.
U10: Tuesdays, 5-6 p.m. OR Thursdays 6-7 p.m.
U12: Tuesdays, 4-5 p.m.
There will be no goalkeepers Academy.
Futsal League
The Futsal League will accept a maximum of 48 players per gender at
the U10 level; 32 players per gender at the U12 level; and 48 players total (boys and girls together) at the U14 level.
Here is the schedule:
U9 and U10, separate boys’ and girls’ leagues, Mondays, 4-7 p.m.
U11 and U12, separate boys’ and girls’ leagues, Fridays, 4-7
p.m.
U14, co-ed league, boys and girls will be mixed on each team,
Wednesdays, 4-7 p.m.
The
cost per child is $45.
