I worked
for MLS Camps from July to November of 2008, after achieving my FA Level 1.
In the summer I worked in the many summer camps we ran weekly, and then in
the fall I took the role of a Player Development Officer (PDO). I was a PDO
at Wrentham Youth Soccer last year for four weeks, and then later moved onto
Sudbury Youth Soccer for an eight-week PDO position. During this time I also
ran some toddler sessions for U5 and U6 players in a few towns. After
returning to the UK, I helped out my local soccer club, Cwmamman United,
with programs for all the age groups in the youth section, and also did
sessions for a development team which consist of the best children from
three local schools.
Soccer
playing experience:
I played for Cwmamman United throughout my younger years. I had trials for
Wales at U14. I played for Neath and Port Talbot Centre of Excellence at U15
and U16. I started playing Welsh league at the age of 16 for Cwmamman
United.
Education:
I went to the University of Manchester and obtained a BSc in Mathematics.
Other sports
interests: I enjoy all
sporting activities, as well as simple social ones. I like to keep fit by
going to the gym.
