This
spring Sudbury Youth Soccer will again be running free soccer skills clinics
with coaches from MLS Camps. The clinics
are a highly structured
eight-week course with a curriculum stressing a progression of skills and
techniques from week to week.
There
is no cost for these sessions, but players much register in advance
as each session is limited to 64 players. Registrants will be placed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration opens Monday, April 7, at 8 a.m. The sessions begin the week of
April 14.

Each
session will be run by Ross Duncan, Sudbury Soccer's director of coaching,
and three MLS Camps coaches, Anthony Connolly, Hamilton Coulter, and Zac
Hopkins. Each age group will have a session once a week from 4 to 5 p.m. at Haskell
Field. Please bring a
soccer ball.
Here is the
schedule of days and age groups for both boys and girls:

The
Friday goalkeeping session is open to all U8-U14 players.
The
Academy is a seven-week progressive program so players should attend every
week. If a player misses two consecutive weeks, he or she will be dropped
from the program.
In
addition to
these skills-based clinics, MLS Camps coaches will be working with teams as they have in past seasons.
