U12 Academy Squad

Academy Squads will be offered for boys and girls at U12.  This Squad includes U11 players.

U12 Squads will play 8 v 8. U12 Squads are expected to include approximately 12 players each. 

The Academy Squads are selective, based upon tryouts to be held over several sessions in May 2013.  These are Academy Squad specific tryouts, and are separate from SYSA BAYS evaluations.  Decisions regarding placement are independent of SYSA BAYS evaluations, current or past BAYS team placements, and BAYS coach assessments. 

U12 Tryout Schedule:

U12 Boys: 6-8 PM on May 7th and May 9th, 2013

U12 Girls: 4-6 PM on May 7th and May 9th, 2013

The Squads will hold additional goalkeeper specific tryouts for those players who wish to concentrate on the position.  Players with a goalkeeper concentration will commit to playing the position 50% of the time at the U12 level.  Players with a goalkeeper concentration must attend both the goalkeeper tryouts and field player tryouts.
