Spring SYSA G Course

Sudbury Soccer, in conjunction with Mass Youth Soccer is bringing training for soccer coaches to Sudbury.  The first course in the curriculum is the Level G course.  This can be done online at MYSA or live on May 4th from 6-10 pm at the FieldHouse in Sudbury.  Come spend the evening with fellow Sudbury coaches and expand your skills for the Spring season.  To register, Click Here

 

Course Content
• Beginning course for coaches
• Coaching organization and theory 
• Helps you to become a more resourceful and confident “activity leader”
• Ideas about how to organize practices and game days
• Practical activities and stimulating games for practices
• Teaching and correcting dribbling, passing, and shooting techniques
• Ideas on parent education and learning theory
• Characteristics of U6 and U8 players  

Prerequisites:
• Must be at least 14 years of age

Materials to bring to the course:
• Soccer Ball
• Water
• Appropriate clothing (dressed to participate)
• Paper and writing utensil

Given out at the course:
• Mass Youth Soccer G Manual (CD)
• Coaching Program shirt
