New uniforms for
the Fall 2009 season
Sudbury Youth Soccer
players will be sporting an updated look this fall, the first uniform change
since 2006.
The new
uniforms are for players in the U9 to U14 age groups who play on
BAYS league travel teams. Players in the U6-U8 intramural program,
the U9/10 intramural program, or the high school program are not
affected. They will be provided with t-shirts at the start of the
season.
The new jersey and
shorts,
pictured at right, are red and blue, like the current BAYS uniforms. But the
shirts are predominantly red, with a blue accent, instead of predominantly
blue with a red accent. This makes them more distinctive when compared with
other BAYS teams' jerseys, many of which are predominantly blue.
The new
uniforms are manufactured by Diadora, and feature Sudbury
Soccer's new logo. The official uniform sock color is navy
blue.
The
new uniforms should be ordered at Brine's
Sporting Goods, 615 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, by July 1.
Sudbury Soccer
changes its uniform style every three years, which is generally the
length of time manufacturers promise to keep a design in production.
The next change will be for the Fall 2012 season.
