If there is a rain
day, contact an MLS Camps Trainer who will inform you of changes that can be
made to the program.
MLS Camps goals for
the U12 program:
-
Players will
progress both technically + tactically through out the program.

Coaches will learn
new coaching techniques to help them develop their players more
effectively
-
Players will have
an environment to develop their soccer skills to the best of their
ability
-
Players will have
a sound knowledge of 8v8 positions
-
Principles of the
game will be introduced
Methodology:
-
Provide an 8-week
training program for all U12 coaches.
-
All U12 coaches
will be provided with a "Principles of Soccer" booklet which
will assist them in developing their players.
-
MLS Camps trainers
will attend all U12 practices at least 2 times through out the season to
assist volunteer coaches.
-
MLS Camps trainers
will implement the development program and evaluate every session.
Providing a written evaluation on how the coach should progress
the following sessions.

MLS Camps trainers
will provide age specific coaching clinics.
-
MLS Camps trainers
will provide specialized skills sessions.
