8-Week Overview

This 8-week overview shows the skills that will be worked on during the season:

If there is a rain day, contact an MLS Camps Trainer who will inform you of changes that can be made to the program.

MLS Camps Goal for the U10 program:

• Players will progress technically through out the program.

• Coaches will develop new coaching technique to help them coach more effectively

• To provide a safe environment where children can develop their soccer skills

•  Players will have a sound knowledge of 6v6 positions

Methodology:

• Provide a training program for all U10 coaches.

• MLS Camps trainers will attend all U10 practices at least 2 times through out the season to assist volunteer coaches.

• MLS Camps trainers will implement the development program and evaluate every session.  Providing a written evaluation on how the coach should progress the following sessions.

• MLS Camps trainers will provide age specific coaching clinics.

• MLS Camps trainers will provide specialized skills sessions.
