CAREER SUMMARY

I grew up in Donegal, Ireland playing soccer and Gaelic football at the secondary school and national school level and continued playing soccer for Fanad United in the Ulster Senior League and in the FAI Cup and League Cup competitions until I emigrated to the U.S. in 1995.

I started coaching in Ireland with Fanad United after injuries forced my playing career to a premature end. I moved to the U.S. in 1995 and begun coaching the Beverly High School team working with the freshman team then moving on to the Junior Varsity Team and Varsity Boys Team. I have worked with the Varsity H.S. team for the past 11 years reaching the Regional Playoffs on several occasions. I also trained the Beverly youth soccer teams, working with various age groups and taking their U-18 Boys teams to the regional playoffs for two years.

Coaching for the New England Revolution Academy for me began four years ago running Summer Academy programs and Spring & Fall Academy sessions with various town associations and premier clubs in the region before becoming full time with the Revolution Academy in April of this year. Over the past two years I have worked with the U15/16 and U17/18 Revolution Youth Development Teams in the US soccer Development Academy league with game day management/team analysis. Working for the Revolution Academy has allowed me to observe and be part of many coaching sessions led by the 1st team and youth development coaches as well as attending various coaching symposiums and conventions to help broaden my coaching horizons by viewing sessions for the top coaches in the region
