Are you in high school
and interested in playing soccer this Spring? Sudbury Soccer is currently
accepting registrations for U16 and U18 players for the Spring season. The
registration deadline is March 1st, and you can signup
online.
Each team will be coached by a professional MLS coach, and will play in the
Boston Area Youth Soccer League (BAYS). The season runs from April 27th
through June 8th. Teams that qualify will play in the Massachusetts
Tournament of Champions (MTOC) the weekend of June 27th-29th.
Teams will practice once a week on Saturday afternoons and play their games
on Sunday afternoons.
SYSA will field as many teams as possible and will make every effort to
place all registrants on a team. However, we are limited by BAYS to a
maximum of 20 players per team. If we have too many players for one team and
not enough for a second team in an age group, players will be placed by date
of registration. In the event we have multiple teams per age group, or it is
necessary to help determine team placement within BAYS, player evaluations
may be held the weekend of March 8th.
