Ross Duncan

Ross was named Sudbury Youth Soccer's Director of Coaching in 2007. His job includes developing training programs for SYSA players and working with coaches.

Hometown: Dundee, Scotland

Education: Sports Coaching Diploma – Angus College .

Coaching qualifications: Young (12 and under): Level 1, Early Touches; Level 2, Coaching Young Players; Level 3, Coaching in the Game; Level 4, Working with Children diploma. Youth (12-18): Level 1, Youth Development; Level 2, Coaching Youth Players; Level 3, Coaching in the Game. Goalkeepers: Level 1, Coaching Goalkeepers; Physical Preparation: Working with Children.

Coaching experience: 7 years coaching with professional organizations such as: The Scottish Football Association, Major League Soccer Camps, Dundee Women’s Development Squad + Scottish Primary and Secondary Schools.

Coaching awards: MLS Camps Spring Clinician 2004, for excellence in the field of 
coaching; MLS Camps Regional Trainer of the Year 2007; Angus Ambassador Award 2004, for work with young people in the region of Angus.

Playing Experience:   Brechin City Football Club, previously a first division football club from the north east of Scotland , I was signed for 3 years on a professional Scottish Youth Football Association contract.
