Both girls’ Academy Squads competed well.  Squad II secured victories in their first two games of group play, but lost their final to take second place.  Although they earned 6 points, a wildcard playoff spot was missed due to AB have 1 more clean sheet.  Squad I pulled together and mounted a challenge for the title after having beat Wayland and Portsmouth earlier in the competition.  The girls found themselves leading in the final only to be pulled back even by Wellesley.  With the score tied 1-1, the game went into two extra session and ended in a dramatic penalty shoot out.  Both Squads excelled and we look forward to more successful tournaments.
