First Winter Session Registration Now Open

Registration for the first session of the Winter Skills Academy and Sudbury Soccer Futsal League is now open.  Please log into your AdminSports account to sign-up.

The cost of the eight week session is $75 for futsal, and $120 for the Skills Academy. To keep the cost of the programs as low as possible, we are unable to offer fee waivers for the winter sessions. The winter programs are not included in the Academy Squad fee.

This winter, we are offering two eight week sessions. The first session runs from November 14th – January 27th. (There will be no sessions during Thanksgiving week or the weeks of December 19th or 26th.) Sessions will be held on January 16th. In the event of inclement weather, even if school is closed, we will determine by 3:00 whether or not the evening's sessions will be held. The decision will be available on our website.

For the Futsal League we will accept a maximum of 48 players per gender at the U10 level; 48 players per gender at the U12 level; and 32 players per gender at the U14 level. The Skills Academy is coed and can accommodate 16 U8 players; 16 U10 players; 32 U12 players; and 32 U14 players per eight week session.

All sessions will be held at the FieldHouse in Chiswick Park in Sudbury.

The schedules for each session are as follows:

FUTSAL:

Mondays: U9 and U10, separate boys’ and girls’ leagues, 4:00-7:00

Wednesdays: U11 and U12, separate boys’ and girls’ leagues, 4:00-7:00

Fridays: U13 and U14, separate boys’ and girls’ leagues, 4:00-6:00

The Futsal League is played in a round robin format, so a player’s scheduled playing time will change from week to week.

Futsal players must have a navy and white reversible jersey. If your child does not already have one, it can be purchased by going to the Family Information page of your AdminSports registration account and clicking on the "Purchase" button after your child's name. The cost of the jersey is $18.

SKILLS ACADEMY:

U8: Thursdays 4:00-5:00

U10: Thursdays 5:00-6:00

U12: Tuesdays 5:00-6:00

U14: Tuesdays 4:00-5:00

Players should wear cleats for the Academy sessions, and sneakers for the futsal sessions. Shinguards must be worn for both.

A reminder that during the inclement weather months players are asked not to wear their sneakers to the FieldHouse, and parents should also have a change of shoes if they are planning to walk on the wood flooring to the bleachers to stay and watch their child play.
