Sudbury Youth Soccer Association: BAYS teams

The Sudbury Youth Soccer and associations representing more than 50 greater Boston communities are members of an umbrella league called Boston Area Youth Soccer, or BAYS.

The biggest difference between SYSA"s BAYS program and its Intramural program is that BAYS teams travel, playing home-and-home games against teams from other BAYS-member cities and towns. Players are placed on BAYS teams based on their skill levels, and Sudbury"s teams are placed in BAYS divisions based on the skill-level of the team overall. Depending upon the age of the player, Sudbury has either a BAYS program, an intramural program, or both. See our FAQ for more information on the difference between the BAYS and intramural programs.

In the Spring of 2008, Sudbury has 49 BAYS teams, making it one of the best-represented communities.
